• Have the home cooled or heated to occupancy settings the day before arrival
• Water back on, then walk every fixture and look under every sink
• Run the dishwasher and washing machine through one empty cycle
• Flush all toilets and run taps until water clears
• Confirm hot water, ice maker and refrigerator temperatures
• Confirm cleaning, linens and pool service happened before you walked in
• Check pest evidence in pantry, garage and under sinks
• Confirm shutters, storm plan and who deploys them, before season.
• Set cooling or dehumidification to hold humidity below 60% while away.
• Rinse and inspect exterior hardware and screens for salt corrosion.
